Canford Cliffs follows up last year’s win at Royal Ascot with victory in the Queen Anne Stake’s this time around on the opening day of the festival.

Ridden by Richard Hughes, the four-year-old produced his renowned turn of foot to win by a length from 5-4 favourite Goldikova.

Cityscape, ridden by Ryan Moore, and Frankie Dettori’s mount Rio de La Plata finish third and fourth respectively.
