Republic of Ireland Goalkeeper, Shay Given
The Republic of Ireland did what hasn’t been done in around 20 years, they registered 6 points from 2 European qualifiers this evening beating Andorra by 3 goals to 1 at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. The Win now leaves Giovanni Trapattoni’s men top of the group B Table. Kevin Kilbane, Kevin Doyle and captain Robbie Keane hit the net for the boys in green, while Christian Martinez struck a consolation goal for the visitors.
After the game Sportspeak’s chief soccer reporter Dan “Pitchside” Pitcher caught up with goal scorers Kevin Doyle, Kevin Kilbane and goalkeeper Shay Given.
