EA SPORTS Cup quarter final draw

The draw for the quarter finals of the EA SPORTS Cup was made today, with current Airtricity League leaders St. Patrick’s Athletic drawn away to Sligo Rovers.

Airtricity League Leaders St Pats Will Play Sligo Rovers In The Next Round

The Bit O’Red will host the Saints at the Showgrounds on June 1st for a place in the semi finals of the competition. The other two Premier Division clubs remaining in the competition, Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers, face tricky fixtures against First Division opposition. Dundalk will travel to the RSC to face Waterford United, while Shamrock Rovers go to the Brandywell Stadium to face Derry City. In an all-First Division affair, Limerick will host Monaghan United.

The draw for the quarter finals of the EA SPORTS Cup is as follows:

Derry City v Shamrock Rovers

Limerick v Monaghan United

Sligo Rovers v St. Patrick’s Athletic

Waterford United v Dundalk

Ties to be played on Tuesday, 1st June with 7.45 pm kick-off time.
