EA Sports Cup Second Round Fixtures Announced

Fixture details for the EA SPORTS Cup Second Round have been confirmed. The Second Round matches will take place on Monday May 10th and Tuesday May 11th.

Four matches will take place on May 10th, including three all-Premier Division fixtures. St. Patrick’s Athletic will host Bray Wanderers, UCD will host Shamrock Rovers, while Dundalk and Sporting Fingal will face each other at Oriel Park. Also on May 10th is the derby meeting of Derry City and Finn Harps.

The remaining four matches will take place on May 11th. Current EA SPORTS Cup holders Bohemians will travel to Gortakeegan to face Monaghan United, while Sligo Rovers will host non-league Letterkenny Rovers. The Pool 1 fixtures will see Cork City host Limerick and Tralee Dynamos travel to the RSC to face Waterford United.

In the event of the score being level after 90 minutes of play, 30 minutes of extra time shall be played. If the score is still level, then a penalty shoot-out will take place to decide the outcome of the tie. The winners of the Second Round fixtures will be entered into an open draw for the Quarter Finals.

Pool 2

Mon. 10 May Derry City v Finn Harps Brandywell Stadium 7.45 pm

Tues. 11 May Sligo Rovers v Letterkenny Rovers The Showgrounds 7.45 pm

Pool 3

Mon. 10 May St. Patrick’s Athletic v Bray Wanderers Richmond Park 7.45 pm

Mon. 10 May U.C.D. v Shamrock Rovers The UCD Bowl 7.45 pm

Pool 4

Mon. 10 May Dundalk v Sporting Fingal Oriel Park 7.45 pm
