Boo Roo As Toxteth Talisman Out For Blues Battle

Manchester United have been dealt a massive blow with the news that their star striker Wayne Rooney will be out for two to four weeks. Rooney was helped off the pitch last night in his teams 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich. Rooney had been on the mark for United with only 66 seconds gone and its believed he injured himself while trying to stop Bayern’s late late winner. This now means that the Toxteth Terror will miss next weeks return game with Bayern in Old Trafford. Also crucially for Alex Ferguson, Rooney will miss this weekends must win game with Chelsea in Old Trafford and may still be out for the champions visit to their noisy neighbours at Eastlands on April 17th.
