CATEGORIES: Magners League, News, Rugby | POSTED BY: | March 17, 2010 at 12:18 pm

The Leinster team to face the Glasgow Warriors in Thursday night’s Magners League clash in the RDS (KO: 7.30pm) has been named.

Malcolm O’Kelly will make his 180th appearance in Leinster colours, while on the other end of the spectrum there’s a first home start for Eoin O’Malley and Paul Ryan, 21, who made his senior debut for the province away to the Dragons at the beginning of December. He is rewarded with his home debut in a back-row which includes in-form duo Stephen Keogh and Kevin McLaughlin.

Bernard Jackman captains the side and is named in a powerful front-row alongside fellow Ireland international Mike Ross and South Africa’s CJ van der Linde.

O’Malley, meanwhile, continues his centre partnership with Fergus McFadden, while Paul O’Donohoe comes in at scrum-half alongside Shaun Berne who continues at out-half.

Over 14,000 tickets have now been sold for Thursday’s Magners League fixture and tickets are still available on www.leinsterrugby.ie and from usual outlets in Donnybrook. Ticketmaster outlets nationwide also have tickets on sale and will be selling tickets outside the RDS from 5pm on Thursday. Please note that all tickets issued for this original fixture date of January 8th are still valid.
