Birmingham Vs Blackburn Team News
CATEGORIES: News | POSTED BY: Daniel Pitcher | December 14, 2009 at 5:21 pmBirmingham manager Alex McLeish has no fresh injury worries ahead of their Premier League clash with Blackburn tomorrow night.Midfielder Lee Carsley is reported to be training with a stiff back but it is not expected to keep him out of action against Sam Allardyce’s team. McLeish is again likely to field an unchanged team as City look to extend an unbeaten run of seven matches from which they have collected 17 points. David Murphy, Garry O’Connor, Martin Taylor and Teemu Tainio remain long-term injury absentees.
Blackburn’s David Dunn is set to miss the trip to his former club as he continues his rehabilitation from a calf problem. Dunn has been forced to sit out Rovers’ last three games with the injury he picked up against Stoke last month. Vince Grella is also expected to be sidelined for the match at St Andrew’s after coming off with a thigh injury in the goalless draw at Hull on Saturday.
