Dunne and Walsh give their backing to Trap’s charges

Some of Ireland’s top Sportsmen and Women have gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel in Ballsbridge tonight for the 52nd Texaco Sportstars Awards.
Ireland Rugby captain Brian O’Driscoll, Kerry footballer Tomas O Se and Irish Footballer John O’Shea are among the 11 award winners.
The Republic of Ireland’s 2-1 defeat to France in last night’s World Cup Playoff has certainly provided a talking point at this evening’s ceremony.
World Champion Boxer Bernard Dunne and Kilkenny’s seven-time All-Star Tommy Walsh have been giving their two cents on the ‘Hand of God’ goal to Sportspeak’s Cóilín Duffy.
