Ireland will be captained by Brian O’Driscoll for the 57th time when they take on Australia in the first of the Guinness Autumn Internationals this weekend.
O’Driscoll partners Paddy Wallace in midfield with Ronan O’Gara earning his 93rd cap for Ireland and will be partnered by Tomas O’Leary.
Up front prop Cian Healy will pack down at loosehead alongside Jerry Flannery andJohn Hayes to earn his first start in a senior Irish jersey.
There are two other uncapped players in the squad with Sean Cronin named as replacement hooker and Jonathan Sexton as cover at out-half.
Irish hooker Jerry Flannery says he is looking forward to partnering John Hayes and Cian Healy in Saturday’s encounter against Australia.
