Manchester City fail with audacious bid for “World’s best”

Again, Lionel Messi the Barcelona playmaker has turned down a world record offer from nouveau riche premiership outfit Manchester City. The deal would have involved a World record transfer fee of €150 million with the pint sized argentine magician getting wages of around €15 million per season. City have already failed with a similar bid for AC Milan playmaker Kaka as they try to add to their solitary galactic Robinho.
